Junior Java Developer (m/f/d) Location: Porto Type: Full-time | Hybrid At HumanIT, we're looking for a Junior Java Developer who is passionate about programming, eager to learn, and ready to bring fresh ideas to a talented and collaborative team. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and want to contribute to meaningful tech projects while growing your skills, this opportunity is for you What Youll Do Develop reusable, testable, and scalable backend code aligned with best practices; Build and maintain libraries and components for future use; Integrate IoT devices and software into a complete system; Collaborate closely with other team members across disciplines; Support daily tasks within the Feature Team. What Were Looking For Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; At least 2 years of experience in backend development using Java; Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles; Familiarity with API integration, relational databases, and version control (Git); Good command of English (spoken and written); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in quality and production environments; A proactive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
