Firmware Engineer Contract Type: Freelancer Rate: 4.700€/mes + IVA. Duration: 3'5 months (possible extension) Work Mode: Hybrid in Lisbon. Role Overview We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to develop advanced firmware for embedded systems and IoT solutions. You will collaborate with hardware, software, and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and robust performance. ✅ Responsibilities Develop high-level firmware in Linux environments (Compute Modules). Create software for complex architectures in embedded systems. Integrate firmware with cloud platforms and APIs . Produce technical documentation and architecture specifications. Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging. Work with multidisciplinary teams in Agile processes. Requirements Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or similar. Minimum 3 years of experience in firmware/embedded systems . Experience with Embedded Linux, CM4, ESP32. Programming in C++, Rust, Python, or Shell. Knowledge of protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT; OCPP and Modbus are a plus. Familiarity with Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. Fluent English . If you're ready for a challenge, apply now
