CALL FOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP | Research Initiation – EUDETCODE – BII Scientific area(s): Mechanical Engineering or similar areas Skills/Qualifications / Admission requirements Applicants who fulfill the following requisites will be considered: a) completed a master degree in the area of the competition or in related areas; b) with Portuguese nationality; c) knowledge of English. Work plan/ Objectives The scholarship aims at scientific training through participation mainly in numeric and computational activities in the scope of Eudetcode. The main tasks to be carried out are: Update the number of the of reactants and detonation products in the database. (2) Computational work for calibration the Eudetcode (3) writing reports and scientific papers. Regime: The attribution of the fellowship does not generate or entitle a relation of a legal-labour nature, and the fellowship is undertaken in an exclusive dedication regime. The fellowship holder is awarded the Fellowship Statute of ADAI, in its current wording, according to the Research Fellowship Holder Statute, and according to the Regulation for Research Fellowships of the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., both in their current wording. Location: Work will be developed within the activities of the Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics of the Associated Laboratory in Energy, Transport and Aeronautics (ADAI-LAETA). The workplace is mainly at DEM-FCTUC and possibly other places that are necessary for the execution of the work plan. Duration: The fellowship will last for

months on an exclusive basis, in accordance with the FCT Research Fellowship Regulations and the ADAI Scientific Research Fellowship Regulations. Scientific orientation: The work will be carried under the scientific guidance of Professor Ricardo Mendes Financial conditions: The amount of the fellowship is

1359,64€

corresponding to the monthly compensation stipulated in the FCT table ( ), plus the reimbursement of social security (Seguro Social Voluntário, first level contributions) and personal accidents insurance. The
