Smith & Adams | International Consultancy for Investment Funds & Global Residency Programs Smith & Adams is an international consultancy specialized in residency-by-investment programs and global wealth management, advising high-net-worth individuals and families worldwide. We are currently seeking an Immigration Lawyer to join our legal department at our Lisbon headquarters. Role Overview Provide legal advisory and case management for clients applying for Portuguese residency and citizenship through investment and business immigration programs. The position involves drafting legal documents, liaising with Portuguese authorities (SEF/AIMA, CMVM, Notaries, etc.), and supporting the due diligence and compliance process. A key aspect of this position is to support our sales team, providing them with legal insights, program guidance, and case-by-case advice to ensure the accuracy of client proposals and investment pathways. Ideal Profile We're looking for a qualified lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association (OA) with strong attention to detail, client service orientation, and the ability to handle complex international cases efficiently. Requirements Law degree and registration with OA (mandatory) 2+ years of experience in immigration, investment, or real estate law Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Turkish or Mandarin are an advantage) Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders Based in Lisbon, with availability for occasional international travel What We Offer Full-time position Competitive fixed compensation + performance-based bonuses Full legal and administrative support from an established international team Opportunities for career progression within Smith & Adams Legal Division Key Markets India | South Africa | Hong Kong | Turkey | United States | Saudi Arabia If you are a client-focused professional passionate about immigration and investment law, we'd love to hear from you.
