As a Senior Mainframe Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the IT industry committed to delivering cutting-edge technological solutions. In this role, you will help shape the future of mainframe systems, ensuring seamless performance and integration in complex enterprise environments. Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of high-performance mainframe applications to meet organizational needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions. - Optimize existing systems for efficiency, reliability, and security. - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues promptly. - Document technical specifications and system configurations thoroughly. - Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 8+ years of experience in mainframe application development or related fields. - Strong proficiency in mainframe programming languages and tools. - Excellent command of English at B2 level or above. - Fluent in French (B2 level) with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment with flexible remote days.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications in mainframe technologies or relevant project management credentials. - Experience working in agile or DevOps environments.
Language required for the role:
- English (Communicative level) - French (B2 level or higher)
