Job Description In this role, you will: You develop software components for our next-generation acceleration and inertial sensors used in Airbag control units. You work across the fullV-model from requirements engineering and architecture to coding, SIL/HIL testing, and component release. You contribute technical expertise to platform, customer projects and provide solutions for integrating your components into their systems such as advanced concepts ofSW ArchitectureandSW Configuration. You collaborate in an international agile team with colleagues in Germany, India and other locations worldwide, using state-of-the-art tools and development methods. Your work supports compliance with key industry standards such asfunctional safety (ISO 26262)andcybersecurity (ISO 21434). Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field. Experience Experience in embedded automotive software development, ideally in safety-critical or hardware-dependent environments. Familiarity with microcontroller drivers, communication buses (e.g., SPI), sensor drivers, or real-time embedded functions. Know-how Strong skills inCprogramming and/orC++. Knowledge of model-based development (e.g., UML). Preferably experience with tools such asIBM Doors NextGen, Rational Team Concert, Rhapsody, or similar. Languages Very goodEnglishcommunication skills; German is an advantage. Working Style & Methods You enjoy working in international agile teams and feel comfortable collaborating across time zones. Occasional business travel to partner locations in Germany and India may be required.
