Asenium is hiring Backend Developers with expertise in Node.js , Java , or Python for a remote position. Location: Remote (Mandatory to be based in Portugal) Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions. Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing systems. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely solutions. Follow best practices in software development and Agile methodologies. Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development. Proven expertise in at least one of the following: Node.js , Java , or Python . Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and SQL/No SQL databases. Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus. Interested candidates can send their CV in English with their daily or hourly rate to or apply directly.
