What you will be responsible for End-to-end financial ownership of product categories: You will oversee the economic performance of the assigned categories in Italy, driving sustainable and profitable growth while improving margin structure. Category strategy development: You will shape the commercial direction for mattresses, beds, and accessories, tailoring the global assortment to local needs and identifying untapped customer segments or market spaces. Local pricing leadership: You will design and manage the national pricing approach across channels, using data-driven insights to optimize revenue and profitability. Go-to-market leadership for new products: You will coordinate all activities related to introducing new items in the Italian market, working closely with Global Product Success, Sourcing, Marketing, and UX teams. Product lifecycle management: You will plan and execute product introductions and retirements, ensuring that the category portfolio evolves smoothly, efficiently, and in line with cost and market considerations. Commercial and campaign planning: As a key partner to the Marketing team, you will ensure the promotional calendar is coherent, impactful, and aligned with overall business goals. Digital performance improvement: In collaboration with the Regional Webshop team, you will enhance online conversion, assortment visibility, and the overall presentation of your categories on the digital storefront. Cross-functional work with Operations & Sourcing: You will support initiatives aimed at optimizing cost structures, improving supply reliability, and strengthening operational performance for the Italian business. Category specialist for Italy: You will act as the internal expert, delivering insights, competitive benchmarks, and strategic recommendations to the local leadership team Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, or similar fields. 2+ years of experiencein Category Management, Strategy, Consulting, or related roles (ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods). Experience owning or contributing toP&L performance. Strong analytical and strategic mindset, able to connect data, pricing, product performance, and customer insights. High level of ownership and an entrepreneurial approach. Solid understanding of commercial levers (pricing, margins, channel dynamics, portfolio management). Strong execution and project coordination skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
