You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, developers, and business analysts to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Advise on data strategy, architecture, and implementation approaches. Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines onAWS(Azure/GCP a plus). Implement and enhanceLakehouse architectures(Iceberg; Hudi/Delta a plus). Build, automate, and maintain ETL processes and data workflows (Airflow, Step Functions). Ensure reliability, automation, maintainability, and security of all solutions. Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive measures. Share knowledge and best practices with internal teams. Deliverables: Functional, optimized data pipelines aligned with business and technical requirements. Documentation of designs, implementations, and operational guidelines. Progress updates, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Training or guidance to internal teams where needed. Required Expertise: 3–5 years building data pipelines on public cloud (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus). 1+ years in data solution architecture, design, development, and support. Experience withETL, BI, Big Data, ML, Advanced Analytics. Spark ecosystems; Hadoop is a plus. Pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions, AWS workflow). Lakehouse architectures (Iceberg) and optimizations (Compaction, Z-Order). Software development:Python, SQL, SSIS, Docker, CI/CD, automation. AWS services:Lambda, Glue, Crawlers, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Batch. DevOps and Agile principles; Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform). Awareness of cloud foundation services (networking, security, storage, IAM). Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluentEnglish; French a plus. Preferred: container-based applications (Docker) and Linux infrastructure.
