Our team is currently 100 strong and is headquartered in Sintra, Portugal.Your RoleAs an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role within our Engineering Team at Aralab. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our firmware successfully orchestrates dozens of components so that Aralab climatic chambers behave with great precision, performance, and reliability.Developing applications for PLC and HMI systems in the marketMonitoring and participating in all phases of electrical engineering and equipment designConducting equipment testing and overseeing project productionSupporting the commissioning team in addressing operational and programming issuesCreating technical manuals for the equipmentPossibility of periodic customer visits (equipment finalization or installation)About YouBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Automation, Embedded Systems, or a related fieldStrong foundational understanding of both electrical engineering and software developmentEffective communication skillsAttention to detailResponsibleAbility to manage stressful situationsTeam playerKnowledge of version control systems like GitFluent in English, both spoken and writtenWhy Aralab?Competitive salary and bonusesFlexible hybrid work policyClear internal career progression pathCompany phone, workstation, and laptopHealth insurance from day oneCompany-wide events and teambuilding activities
