About Client Company: Our client is a leading European strategy and grant partner that empowers innovative technology companies to turn cutting-edge ideas into reality.Position Overview As an Innovation Grants Consultant, you will focus on developing high-quality grant applications for innovative technology companies. Youll translate complex technical and business information into structured, compelling proposals for European and national funding programs. This role is both analytical and strategic, ideal for someone who enjoys working with emerging technologies, writing detailed technical work plans, and supporting the growth of innovation-driven organizations.Key Responsibilities Develop and write grant applications for European and national funding programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC, Innovation Fund, PRR/PT2030). Translate complex technical information into clear, structured, and persuasive narratives. Work closely with clients to analyze, challenge, and strengthen their project concepts from both technical and business perspectives. Conduct research on technological trends, markets, and innovation opportunities to enhance the quality of proposals. Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure seamless alignment between technical, financial, and strategic elements of each project. Stay updated on the grant landscape and contribute to continuous knowledge building within the team. Required Qualifications and Skills Background in AI, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Strong ability to draft coherent technical work plans, including detailed development steps for product or technology creation. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. Experience preparing or contributing to innovation grant programs such as Horizon Europe, EIC, Innovation Fund, or PRR/PT2030. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Proactive mindset with a passion for technology, research, and innovation. Nice-to-Have In-depth technical knowledge of AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, computer vision, machine learning, NLP, deep learning). Previous experience working with Flemish or European grant schemes (e.g., VLAIO). Whats Offered Fully remote opportunity from Portugal.
