Automation Tester Responsibilities / Main activities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. • Build and improve robust, reusable test automation frameworks. • Implement and execute functional, integration, and API tests. • Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and the CI/CD pipeline. • Analyse and report bugs, providing clear documentation and test evidence. • Work with data formats such as Excel and CSV for test input/output. • Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes. Professional Knowledge and Expertise • 4+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer. • Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages • Experience with web application backend testing and Continuous Integration processes. • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA). • Basic Java language knowledge • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. • Fuent Portuguese & Fluent English • Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes. • ISTQB is a plus Main hard skills: • Strong Gherkins knowledge • Good BDD methodology knowledge • Good Java Knowledge is an add value but not mandatory This position will require: • 2 days per week presence at our office • Portuguese and English fluence • Basic functional knowledge is a plus • Java knowlege is a plus
