ROLE AND LOCATION
We are strengthening our HV operational team with Technicians for Mechanical and Electrical completion tasks on a VESTAS project that will take place in Denmark.
The chosen candidates need to have experience in the wind energy sector and electrical installation knowledge .
Although we are recruiting for a specific project, the candidates should have availability for all HV projects – future and ongoing.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- Completion of all electrical work on the tower;
- Cable connections and also installation of sensors, junction boxes, and auxiliary equipment;
- Basic continuity and functionality tests;
- Final electrical connections in the upper module, including wiring for the nacelle, sensors, and auxiliary systems;
- Identification of pending items (punch items) and correction of minor non-conformities;
- Final mechanical assembly and electrical checks in the lower module;
- Components fixation, torqueing, alignment, and completion of electrical connections.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in the wind energy sector – mandatory;
- Experience in electrical installation tasks like cable pulling, cable connection, and cable testing – mandatory;
- Knowledge on how to use equipment like a multimeter/ohmmeter – mandatory;
- Experience with VESTAS technology will be a plus;
- English: Minimum level – B1 (will be assessed during the recruitment process).
