The Radiology Procurement Manager will play a critical role in driving cost savings, ensuring product quality, and maintaining regulatory compliance for Unilabs' procurement of Radiology products (eg. MRI, X-ray, Sonography, CT and accessories, consumables etc.) and related services. This position requires a strong understanding of the Radiology /Imaging market, supplier relationship management, negotiation skills, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector. Radiology Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for Radiology and Imaging products and services, aligning with company objectives, budget constraints, and quality standards. Identify and prioritize procurement needs based on market trends, technological advancements, and clinical requirements. Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and select Radiology suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and adherence to regulatory standards. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service levels. Manage relationships with key Radiology suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery and ongoing support. Cost Optimization and Value Creation: Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential alternative suppliers. Implement strategies to optimize Radiology /Imaging procurement spending, such as volume discounts, bundled purchases, and value-based agreements. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and drive value. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for Radiology procurement, including ISO 13485, Medical Device Regulation (MDR), and Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and performance of procured Radiology products. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including laboratory staff, clinicians, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to gather requirements and ensure that procured Radiology products meet their needs. Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and track procurement spending. RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management). Experience: 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on Radiology products (eg. MRI, X-ray, Sonography, CT and accessories, consumables etc.) Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships in the healthcare industry. Skills: In-depth knowledge of the Radiology/Imaging market, products, and regulatory landscape. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
