Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a dynamic team in Lisbon . This hybrid role (2 days per week in the office) offers the chance to work on cutting-edge analytical and AI-driven solutions that have real-world impact. What You’ll Do: Design and implement complex analytical models , including combinatorial approaches and deep learning on structured and unstructured data. Develop solutions using Python, R , and cloud-based PaaS services (preferably Azure ) with advanced ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Caffe . Integrate Generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models) into workflows for text generation, summarization, contextual classification, image creation, and intelligent copilots . Build robust pipelines for preprocessing, model fine-tuning, evaluation , and API-based deployment , following best practices in machine learning engineering. Collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative AI and analytics solutions. What You Bring: Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English . Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases . Experience in machine learning development (Python, R, SAS) , model deployment, and lifecycle management. Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow . Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality. Nice-to-Have / Valued Skills: Experience with AI / Generative AI solutions.
