LOOK.Sharp Café is part of Porto's international creative hub — a small place where locals, expats, and travellers meet for quality food, good coffee, and great company. Our menu reflects that mix: fresh, simple dishes inspired by global flavours, from brunch favourites to evening bites. Following the Promotion of our Lead Chef to fill a Managerial Role, we are currently looking for a full-time experienced cook who's confident running a small kitchen on their own and enjoys creating food that people remember. Who you are You're a capable, organised cook with experience working independently in a café or small kitchen. You love flavour and presentation but know how to keep things practical, efficient, and consistent. You enjoy variety — from breakfast service to evening plates — and you're comfortable following international recipes. You take pride in maintaining a clean, well-run kitchen and staying calm and professional during busy moments. What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch, and day/evening meals inspired by international flavours Managing all aspects of a small kitchen: prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning Maintaining food quality, hygiene, and organisation standards Coordinating with the café team for smooth service during events and busy hours Monitoring inventory and assisting with ordering and supplier coordination What we're looking for Proven experience as a cook or chef in a small or medium-sized kitchen Confidence working independently (often solo during service) Strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills Good understanding of international cuisines (Mediterranean, Asian, Latin, etc.) Some pastry/dessert experience including baking for specific dessert prep shifts Food safety and hygiene awareness Positive energy and reliability — someone the team can count on What we're offering Full-time role in a friendly, international café environment Daytime and Evening Hours finishing before midnight Competitive salary based on experience Tips and performance-based bonuses when café targets are met Space for creativity — contribute to menu ideas, new dishes, and seasonal specials with head chef / general manager & owner Opportunity to grow within the LOOK.Sharp brand as the kitchen and café expand Why you'll enjoy it here LOOK.Sharp Café is more than just a café — it's part of a growing brand built around creativity, community, and good food.
