SAP FI/CO Consultant

SAP FI/CO Consultant is partnering with one of the largest and most respected private German NGOs for development cooperation and humanitarian aid (working towards the goal of Zero Hunger) and is building a new Tech Hub in Porto. As aSAP FI/CO Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and modernizing our finance and controlling landscape. You will be at the heart of ourSAP ECC → SAP S/4HANA transformation, working closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to design robust, future-proof solutions that truly add value. This role combinesdeep SAP expertise,business understanding, andhands-on ownership. Your Role and Responsibilities: Review and enhance the existing SAP configuration in FI/CO, implementing necessary adjustments in close coordination with business units and the implementation partner Ensure smoothintegration of FI/CO processeswith other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PS, HCM) Act as internal coordinatorbetween Finance and IT, and manage collaboration with external service providers Organize and facilitate workshops with stakeholders todefine requirements and design practical SAP solutions Participate intesting, data migration, and the setup of the authorization conceptfor financial processes After go-live of our S/4 HANA platform, you serve as theinternal subject matter expert and main contact for all FI/CO-related topics Monitor and continuouslyimprove system performance, process efficiency, and data integritythroughout the system's life cycle Serve as theinternal expert andfirst point of contact for SAP FI/CO-related issues and continuous improvements and collaborate with business units and external support partners to resolve incidents and implement enhancements Prepare training materials,conduct user trainings, and support end userswith SAP-related questions Evaluate new S/4HANA features introduced through quarterly cloud updates and assess their relevance for Finance and Controlling Analyze, document, and optimize our financial and controlling processesand play a key role in themigration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Your Skills and Experiences: Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable qualification Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO consultingor as an SAP key user; participation in an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration is an advantage In-depth knowledge of the SAP FI/CO modulesand experience in configuration, process optimization, and cross-module integration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills withattention to data quality and process consistency Ability to communicate effectivelywith both financial experts and IT professionals Structured, goal-oriented, and collaborative working stylewith strong teamwork skills Youenjoy working with diverse teamsand remain calm and focused in the face of resistance during change processes Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus What you can expect from us: Remote-friendly environment; Highly attractive salary and benefits; Great work-life balance and flexibility; Find meaning and purpose in your day-to-day work; your expertise has visible impact, not just on KPIs, but on people's lives You will be part of a company where commitment, quality, and continuous improvement are core principles of our culture; Highly engaged tech community; International career opportunities; Focus on individual development About us: is passionate about software, tech, and people.
