Context:
IKOS is constantly seeking RAMS railway engineers keen to take part in our missions throughout their country (Portugal) or abroad (all EU, depending on language skills). If you are a specialist or a generalist, expert or junior RAMS engineer - we are looking for various types of skilled new team members.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety ) analyses for rail projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop safety cases and hazard logs
- Participate in risk assessments and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
We'd love you to apply if:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field (mandatory)
- Proven experience in RAMS engineering within the rail industry
- Familiarity with ETCS (European Train Control System) is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Portuguese and English speaking is mandatory.
