The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of Board area Customer Services & Delivery with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.  YOUR FUTURE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist in the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery Architecture Quality Assurance team of the Technology and Delivery unit within the Customer Services and Delivery board area. In this role, we test and operate the internal SAP Sovereign Cloud environments used as reference by the regional Operations teams. You will help deliver SAP Multi-Tenant applications to SAP Sovereign Cloud customers aiming at functional completeness, streamlined deployments, and smooth operation. You will be working closely with technical product managers, engineers, our security team, as well as SAP product team members and Operations teams. You will have the opportunity to solve the intricate Sovereign Cloud challenges of scale and security, while using your functional expertise skills in the applications' environment setup, functional expertise, and testing background (manual/automated). You will participate in the overall release lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and executing test cases for releases as well as patches in pre-production Cloud landscape. You will help identify defects, track defect remediation, and include software or solution updates required to resolve issues in future deployments.    What you bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or a similar field Professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies A solid background in software testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing for frontend and backend cloud-based solutions (inc mobile). Expertise in test planning, design and execution, leveraging tools like Jira for requirement review and adhering to established testing principles. Defect management processes experience in detecting, logging, and reporting bugs and configuration changes Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues leveraging technical and product skills. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Familiarity with Security processes and tools (e.g. Vault) Excellent methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams Fluency in written and spoken English Nice to have Understanding of Software Testing lifecyle with ISTQB Foundations certification Prior team or work stream lead experience to streamline QA effort Solid knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and design incl. hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Programming/scripting skills in any language such as Java, Javascript/Typescript,  Python, C/C++ or other.
