Smart Energy LAB is a Collaborative Laboratory (CoLAB) held by EDP Comercial, Accenture, Instituto Superior Técnico, Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon, University of Coimbra, INESCTEC and INESC ID. Smart Energy Lab has a unique combination of science, technology and industry in the energy sector, focused on creating new products and services for the downstream of the energy value chain. “We are a green dream factory that will make tomorrow possible, improving life for everyone with new energy solutions through smart collaboration.” In order to create the future, we are looking for an Energy and Business Analyst. We are looking for an Energy and Business Analyst, that will perform tasks such: Participate in R&D and Features Acceleration product and services development on the energy new downstream (electrification, e-mobility, distributed resources, smart homes, flexibility, IoT) Participate in business development analyzing the market, technology trends for energy new downstream (electrification, e-mobility, distributed resources, smart homes, flexibility, IoT) Conducting analysis of state of the art on relevant topics on energy new downstream Contribute to project management and support Perform analysis and applied research to discover new business and projects opportunities Support the customer centric user team in product discovery activities Conduct specific studies and presentations to support the business and product development Support the preparation of applications for projects financing (european and national funds) and business proposals What we are looking for: Up to date on innovation trends in the energy sector Passionate for energy transition High problem-solving capabilities Good writing and oral communication skills Good combination of technical and business knowledge Easiness to work with cross-functional teams Ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous projects Specific Skills Required 2+ years of knowledge and experience in energy transition domain Master degree or PhD in Engineering or other relevant degree for the function Fluent English Location: Lisbon, Portugal Employees need to have Portuguese tax residency, and be located in Lisbon Region. Position sponsored by Portuguese R&D Funding Project: 12 months contract, with possibility to renew to permanent contract after the first contracting period.
