Key Responsibilities – Italian Speaking Business Travel Consultant, Lisbon BPO Provide end-to-end business travel consultancy to corporate clients, ensuring seamless planning and booking of flights, hotels, ground transportation, and ancillary services. Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, delivering solutions in both Italian and English to meet business travel requirements. Utilise global distribution systems (GDS) and travel management tools to research and secure cost-effective and compliant itineraries. Offer expert advice on visa requirements, travel policies, documentation, travel insurance, and destination information. Act as a point of contact for travel emergencies and last-minute changes, delivering exceptional service and support under pressure. Collaborate effectively with team members and internal departments to deliver outstanding client experiences and meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the company's travel management system and comply with GDPR and all relevant company policies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, preferred supplier agreements, and best practices in travel management to continually enhance service delivery. Candidate Profile – Business Travel Consultant, Italian Language Specialist Previous experience as a travel consultant, travel agent, customer service advisor, or in a similar role, ideally within a BPO, travel, or hospitality environment. Full proficiency in Italian and English – both spoken and written; additional language skills are considered an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships and delivering client-focused solutions. Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar) and travel reservation software. Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to accuracy and compliance. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic, high-volume customer service setting.
