• Maintain optimal deck upkeep hand-in-hand with the Master, Chief Officers, and Boatswain as an Able Seaman.
• Align daily operations with the Van Oord Management System, company policies, and strict safety codes like ISM and ISPS.
• Review common deck tasks and manage efficient spare part stocks alongside your shipmates.
• Implement the Ship Security Plan and Standing Instructions to guarantee safe, secure voyages.

• Coordinate daily maintenance and common deck activities hand-in-hand with the Master, Chief Officer, and Boatswain as an active Able Seaman.
• Manage efficient spare part inventories and ensure strict compliance with ISM, ISPS, and environmental regulations on deck.
• Execute company policies and the Ship Security Plan while seizing fantastic career growth opportunities on board.
• Hold a valid STCW VI/1 Basic Safety Training certificate (covering Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, and PSSR) and STCW VI/2 Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats.
• Possess STCW II/5 Able Seaman (or STCW II/4 Rating Part Of A Navigational Watch), STCW VI/6 Security Awareness Training, and STCW I/9 Medical Seafarer MLC.
