We are seeking a Tax Specialist reporting directly to the Senior Tax Manager. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns and workpapers, organizing tax payments and reconciliations, supporting the business with tax-related queries, audits, and projects. What will you be doing? Collect, prepare, and analyze financial data, legal documents, and other info for local tax filings/audits Prepare Indirect Tax returns (VAT, EC Sales lists, Intrastat, etc.) end-to-end Provide documents supporting transactional data audits and responses Advise on ERP system updates aligned with tax strategies and global changes Assist with tax operational matters and escalate compliance issues to the Senior Tax Manager Deliver indirect tax and systems training to internal stakeholders Provide audit support and responses as required Prepare tax reconciliations, including monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations before filing What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Management, or equivalent 2–4 years of experience in Tax, ideally with Indirect Taxes in a complex environment Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology English level: minimum B2 GKN Automotive in Porto Our GBS center is located in Porto's Hipercentro Areosa Business Park, where 300+ employees provide global support in Finance, Procurement, HR, and IT.
