Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Scientist with expertise in theoretical and computational modeling to join our research team. In this role, you will develop mathematical frameworks, computational simulations, and analytical methods to describe complex physical systems, working closely with experimentalists and interdisciplinary scientists to validate and refine your models.
About Your Role | What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop and refine mathematical models for complex physical systems targeting personalized medicine.
- Work closely with experimental teams to guide data collection/analysis.
- Apply analytical and computational techniques to study physical phenomena.
- Utilize statistical physics, quantum mechanics, and applied mathematics.
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting experimental data.
- Stay up to date with advancements in physics and computational modeling.
- Communicate findings effectively across disciplines.
- Contribute to research publications and presentations.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in theoretical and computational physics or applied mathematics.
- Proven experience working at the interface of theory and experiment.
- Proficiency in numerical modeling and data analysis using Python or similar tools.
- Ability to develop and implement physical models and computational frameworks.
- Experience with data-driven approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of scientific publications.
Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in a relevant field.
- +3 years of experience in academia or industry.
- Experience in developing theories/models tested in experimental setups.
