The Role As a Mainframe Planning Technician, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring technical activities in mainframe environments, ensuring the efficient execution of processes, maintenance of legacy systems, and support to the involved areas. Responsibilites: Develop and maintain schedules for technical and operational activities. Plan maintenance windows and updates in mainframe systems. Monitor system performance and capacity indicators. Support change and incident management, ensuring traceability. Produce technical reports and presentations for business and IT areas. Interact with development, infrastructure, and information security teams. Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Required Skills and Experience: Experience in Mainframe scheduling zWS (formerly OPC/IWS) Experience in creating, customizing, and interpreting Job Control Language (JCL) Experience integrating DB2 and CICS into banking application JCL. REXX programming for object manipulation, e.g., JCL, to automate migration project tasks.
