Why this job is importan tAs a Senior Country Controller you will be responsible for all financial operations for the country, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, regulatory compliance, and the ability to lead a finance team effectively **. What you'll be doi** ngEnsure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFR S.Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reporte d.Ensure compliance with all local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and reportin g.Implement robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reportin g.Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional developmen t.Work closely with department heads, regional finance teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment and support business objective s.Coordinate statutory audits, ensuring they run smoothly and on tim e.Ensure all tax requirements are fulfilled, and local requirements are properly accomplishe d.Act as the main point of contact for KPMG (MSP) and stakeholders, including the Country MD, Country CFO, and country boar d.Review and sign off on balance sheets and P&L statements in collaboration with BPO and R2 **D. The skills & experience needed as Senior Country Contro** ller Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related f ield.Professional certification (e.G., CPA, ACCA) prefe rred.Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably within a multinational corpora tion.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting stand ards.Proven experience in managing compliance with local tax and regulatory requirem ents.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making sk ills.Strong leadership and team management abili ties.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Ora cle).Excellent communication and interpersonal sk ills.Strong project management sk ills.Familiarity with Power BI and other data visualisation t ools.Experience with international accounting standards and pract ices.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environ **ment.
