Seasonal Executive Chef in Almada, Portugal
Join our team as a Seasonal Executive Chef in the beautiful city of Almada, Portugal We are looking for a talented and experienced chef to lead our kitchen during the busy summer season. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, managing inventory and food costs, and supervising kitchen staff. You must have a passion for cooking and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as an Executive Chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of Portuguese cuisine
- Ability to manage inventory and control food costs
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in Portuguese (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus using fresh, local ingredients
- Manage inventory and control food costs by minimizing waste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
