The Director of Infrastructure Projects & Maintenance is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and oversight of infrastructure development and maintenance across a network of healthcare facilities. This role ensures that all physical assets support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while enabling scalable growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business and operational goals. Lead capital planning and budgeting for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. Collaborate with leadership team to prioritize infrastructure investments. Project Management Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from design to licensing. ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders across multiple sites. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and sustainability objectives. Maintenance & Facility Operations Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Monitor and optimize performance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, imaging infrastructure). Ensure readiness and rapid response to infrastructure-related incidents or emergencies. Compliance & Risk Management Maintain compliance with local and international healthcare facility regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks. Team Leadership Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers/architects, maintenance supervisors, and technical staff. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure project management and maintenance, ideally in healthcare. Proven ability to lead complex projects in fast-paced, multi-site environments. Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations and building systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management, budgeting and cost management. Fluent in English.
