We are seeking a Senior QA Practice Lead - a highly experienced professional who will informally lead and evolve our QA discipline. This role is ideal for someone with initiative, vision, and a strong track record in Quality Assurance. You will champion best practices, mentor the QA team, and collaborate across functions to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Responsibilities: Perform manual testing on our internal backoffice platform, identifying UI/UX and functional issues; Test and validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman (e.g. status codes, payload validation, error handling, authentication, etc.); Analyze product requirements and translate them into effective test plans and scenarios; Collaborate with development, product, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle; Design and oversee comprehensive test strategies, including manual, automated, exploratory, and API testing; Proactively identify, log, and prioritize defects; facilitate root cause analysis and resolution; Drive adoption of modern QA methodologies and advocate for process improvements; Track and report on QA metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership; Stay current with market trends and emerging QA technologies, recommending innovations for our client. Skills: +4 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role; Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and industry best practices; Experience with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, conducting UI testing of backoffice/admin panels, and exploratory testing approaches; Experience with Jira (or similar tools) and Oracle DB; familiarity with Selenium/JMeter is a plus; Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
