We are scaling our technology organisation to unlock the next wave of automation- and AI-powered experiences that will delight customers and empower employees worldwide. The Role As Principal DevOps Engineer, you’ll be the technical lead for our platform reliability and developer experience. You’ll own the north star for CI/CD, runtime, observability, cost efficiency, and incident response across all products, mentoring DevOps/SREs and partnering with Security and Product Engineering. What You Will Work On Define and evolve platform architecture (Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, networking, secrets, service mesh). Lead CI/CD strategy (multi-env, progressive delivery, canary/feature flags). Lead the DevSecOps discipline by ensuring solid infrastructure security with automatic controls. Own observability (metrics/logs/traces), SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and on-call excellence. Drive cost governance and performance tuning across AWS/GCP. Raise developer experience (golden paths, reusable modules, scaffolds, inner-source). Coach engineers; lead incident reviews and reliability roadmaps. Who We Are Looking For 8–12+ years in DevOps/SRE; staff/principal scope. Deep AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/containers, Terraform, Linux, networking. Proven CI/CD design (GitHub Actions/GitLab), artifacts, environments. Observability expertise (Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Sentry); incident leadership. Security hygiene (least privilege, secrets, SBOMs, supply chain).
