Our Client Our client is a consultancy specializing in project planning and controls, with a strong focus on data analysis and process optimization. They operate across multiple sectors, helping organizations manage complex projects efficiently. They have an international presence, including operations in Portugal.The Position As a Project Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in large and complex projects, providing essential insights through data analysis. Working closely with the project manager, you will maintain a holistic view of the project, delivering planning, forecasts, management reports, and analyses covering time scheduling, cost, risk, and scope. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to the project manager within the area of project controls. Understand the technical aspects of the project and translate them into a comprehensive project plan. Take ownership of the planning and control process, performing advanced analyses such as Earned Value, scenario planning, and risk assessments. Provide guidance to the project manager and team regarding potential claims. Utilize and master project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project (preferable). Your Profile Aligns with our client humane and entrepreneurial company culture. Holds a Masters degree in Industrial, Civil, or Business Engineering. Analytical, independent, and communicative mindset. Comfortable bridging technical expertise and management. Fluent in English and Portuguese. Strong interest and knowledge in IT tools. Flexible and curious, eager to explore different projects and industries. Perfil buscado:Ingeniero/a civil, también pueden ser site managers. Idealmente interés en IT (no hace falta saber programar). Experiencia o interés en: project controls, cost control, risk management. Puede gustar el trabajo en obra, pero el puesto es principalmente de oficina. Habilidades y formación:Primavera P6 y MS Project: se ofrece capacitación, no es requisito previo. Bootcamp de formación en Bélgica: 1 semana. Viaje anual a Bélgica: mínimo 3 días. Presencialidad:Oficina Proove: 1 vez al mes. Cliente Proove (Sines): visitas según necesidad. Beneficios:Vale de comida: €8,32/día. Multicare. Celular de empresa. No incluye auto.
