PIC Funds is expanding its scope of activity to include private equity investments and is looking for opportunities to deploy capital into strategically selected target markets and asset classes across the hospitality and mixed-use sectors. Consequently, PIC Funds will expand its Investment Team, which leads the sourcing, strategic planning, analysis, and transaction coordination of all new investment opportunities. As a member of this team, you will be mainly responsible for identifying and pre-screening investment opportunities, both for real estate and private equity investments, building feasibility studies and providing support in due diligence. You will have exposure to all steps of the processes that lead to the underwriting of investments or divestments of Real Estate Assets and Hospitality-related companies.

You will play a significant role in analyzing, organizing, and financing deals and will be responsible for conducting supporting research and financial modelling. It is expected that you will frequently attend both internal and external meetings, as well as perform visits to sites and be involved in negotiations and valuation processes. To excel in this role, it is important for you to be a good team player, have strong drive and MS Excel intermediate proficiency and be attentive to detail and goal oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and prospection to identify trends and investment opportunities
  • Assist in potential deals and make recommendations
  • Assist in conducting financial analysis and modeling on potential investments
  • Support the due diligence process associated with the investment process, including the analysis of financial statements, legal documents, and operational reports
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Management, Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Law or related field
  • Between 0-2 years of professional experience in the fields of finance, project management and/or consulting (experience in hospitality real estate and/or investment sectors will be a plus)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish will be a plus)
  • Passionate about the fast-paced and growing hospitality industry
