Our client is a consumer-focused international market research company with offices in the major European markets. They are also present in all other markets combing local, national and global experience, with knowledge and experience that covers every major sector. They are experts in quantitative and qualitative research and provide valuable business insight to multinational companies around the globe.To help them consolidate their operations in Portugal, STANDBY is looking for an Operations Manager to lead the multi-disciplinary team in Oporto.The Operations Manager will be leading a team of talented researchers and will be responsible for ensuring marketing research projects are conducted in a thoughtful and comprehensive manner to meet client objectives and provide clients with strategic insights and actionable recommendations.Responsibilities:+ Manage existing client accounts and continue to market existing and new research services+ Generate new business, actively searching for new clients+ Brainstorm with client to determine project needs, objectives and desired outcomes of each research initiative+ Design questionnaires based on study objectives, including using creativity to ensure efficient data collection and ease of understanding for respondents+ Manage all parts of the project fielding, from questionnaire programming through data collection+ Prepare and deliver effective presentations+ Consistently monitor profitability of projects+ Communicate diplomatically and effectively resolve challenges that arise with client and other+ Effectively lead and manage the market research teamRequirements:+ Further studies or course in in research, marketing, business, statistics or a social science+ A minimum of three years' experience as a Marketing Research Manager, Project Director and Team Leader+ Hands-on experience as a Market Researcher+ Experience in Market Research projects+ Direct experience with both quantitative and qualitative research is required+ The Operations Manager should be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SPSS; experience with SPSS Data Collection Survey Reporter and Survey Programming is a plus+ Good level of Spanish is requiredSend your CV for this job vacancy, specifying Reference: in the subject to: You can also press the button to join the job offer. *If you can't see the button, it's because the offer is no longer available.
