Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a motivated professional for a Portuguese Speaking Content Moderator position in Bulgaria. This role is at the heart of the social media industry, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, engaging, and compliant digital environment for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze user-generated content in Portuguese to ensure compliance with community standards and safety policies within the social media industry
- Identify, flag, and escalate prohibited content including graphic imagery, hate speech, or harassment to protect the online community
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality while processing reports in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with global internal teams to refine moderation workflows and improve policy enforcement strategies
- Provide insightful feedback to the development team regarding emerging trends or patterns observed in social media interactions
- Ensure that your moderation activities meet the strict performance metrics set by our high-profile social media clients
- Stay updated on evolving content policies and digital ethics to remain an authority in the social media industry
- Native or fluent Portuguese (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate within a multicultural, international office setting
- Valid EU passport or a valid work permit allowing employment in Bulgaria
- Passionate about the social media industry and current digital trends
- High level of emotional intelligence and attention to detail, capable of handling sensitive content with professional maturity
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make objective, policy-based decisions
