An experienced QA Engineer is required to join a well-established SaaS Technology Company, headquartered in United Kingdom with an office in Porto, Portugal. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on highly scalable, customer-facing platforms that deliver real-time worldwide communications. As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping testing strategies across web and API-based systems, ensuring high-quality releases and continuously improving automation coverage. You’ll work closely with Product Owners and Developers to influence quality from the earliest stages of delivery, contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering culture. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining test approaches, building and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing test plans, and supporting releases by providing clear quality assessments. We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in: 2+ years of commercial QA experience across the full testing lifecycle (functional, integration, regression, performance) Strong hands-on automation skills, building frameworks for API and web applications (Cypress, Playwright) Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, SoupUI), and performance testing tools (jMeter, K6) Confident in working with technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, GitHub, Browserstack, and MongoDB Test-first approaches (TDD / BDD) experience Strong communication skills in English and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset Relevant certifications such as ISTQB / ISEB is a nice to have This QA Engineer role is office-based in Porto, Portugal and they are offering a salary of €23,500 per annum.
