Job description We are seeking a motivated and talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Intern to join our team. As an SRE Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services. You will gain hands-on experience in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that supports our applications, learning best practices in system design, automation, and monitoring. Responsibilities Collaborate with the SRE team to monitor and maintain the health of our infrastructure and applications. Assist in the development and implementation of tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system reliability. Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, reliability, and scalability. Contribute to the documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices. Support the deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles. Work with engineering teams to ensure new features and services are reliable and scalable from day one. Job requirements Must have Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, or Shell scripting. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Interest in cloud computing and experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. Nice to have Experience with infrastructure-as-code with tools such as Terraform. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack. Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
