We are searching for a dedicated and creative Florist Assistant to join our team in Almada. As a successful candidate, you will assist our lead florist in creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. This is a contract position with provided visa and ticket. No prior experience is required, but a passion for flowers and willingness to learn is essential.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead florist in designing and creating floral arrangements
Prepare flowers by trimming stems, removing thorns, and arranging them in vases
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering inquiries
Requirements:
Passion for flowers and creativity
Willingness to learn from experienced florists
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good communication skills in English (Portuguese fluency is a plus)
Flexibility to work on weekends or holidays as needed
