Role's mission

Kantar Worldpanel is moving from legacy production systems to a cloud-based one. This transformation requires a Product Owner to handle ETL process set up during migration phase and improve it, considering the change in the business for successful set up, implementation and activation. UK and France markets are the 2022 priority with roll out in LatAm, Asia and rest of the world during following months. It is an exciting time to be part of the next stage of growth for Kantar and the Worldpanel division.

You will be tasked to lead and challenge the loading, the checking and the transformation of data vs business scenarios already captured, and to audit any new requests and be accountable for capturing and documenting new business requirements.

Working with program management and development groups within an agile environment to assess and propose potential solutions. Help gain concept approval from the business. Working closely with local Operational teams to secure and improve the way of Load.

You will work closely with a diverse range of key company stakeholders based in the UK, France, Portugal, and other regions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Data Load from Operations (PRISM Factory)
  • Lead the Improvements & features requests implementation of the Data Load Tools
  • Lead Setup of Global Data Load Calendar (Local Plan & Scheduler)
  • Lead Local teams to Secure & Improve Data received (Quality Checks) & Coordinate Data Audit
  • Lead the implementation of new Markets & Services
  • Lead the daily activities for the Data Load and guide the countries.
  • Review all Data Load scenarios (ETL process) & E2E process and amend documentation.
  • Monitor the system, investigate working closely with different stakeholders to improve process, performance, efficiency, and flexibility.
  • Audit and document (Local and New Business Requirements) for Business priorities
  • Lead requirements gathering and definition to improve our operational and technical capabilities.
  • Write well thought out, clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria and communicate these effectively to different stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continual development of departmental processes to ensure that we perform to our maximum potential.
Key Capabilities

  • Experience in defining and building requirement documents, in a hands-on software development lifecycle environment (Jira, Azure, Excel).
  • Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet goals.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with team members and wider Tech teams.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo – constructively and appropriately challenge what, why and how things are
  • Proficiency with database languages such as SQL.
