QA SW Engineer Trainee

Job DescriptionYou will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end-to-end for Nokia's applications' portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform it into a fast-moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization. We build and maintain company-wide R&D laboratory budget planning and management solutions. We implement user community requirements on a daily basis, supporting business process changes and transformation. We aim for cloudification, database optimization, modularity with microservices, and a better user experience through user interface redesign. Position: Internship Duration: 12 months Start Date (tentative): December 2025 Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate who has finished or is finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Create and execute manual test cases to validate functionality Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality product delivery Design and implement automated tests to improve efficiency and coverage Key Skills And ExperienceYou have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for business requirements and the solution implemented Proactive mindset and adaptability Collaborative profile with strong interpersonal skills, to be able to work with diverse teams and stakeholders Fluency in English It would be nice if you also had: Hands-on practice with Cypress and TypeScript Hands-on practice with API testing tools like Postman Understanding of manual testing and test management tools (Xray) Prior contact with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps About UsAbout NokiaJoin us in creating the technology that helps the world act together.
