Project Marketing Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Project Marketing Manager with deep expertise in Web3, DeFi, and Perpetual DEXs (futures exchanges) to join our CEDEX team. In this key role, you will lead marketing initiatives tailored to our innovative DeFi protocol, driving TVL (Total Value Locked) growth, attracting investments, securing listings on Tier-1 exchanges, and fostering organic engagement across social networks. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive leader to shape the marketing strategy for a cutting-edge Web3 project and contribute directly to its success in the decentralized finance ecosystem.Key Responsibilities & ImpactStrategy and Ownership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the CEDEX protocol, emphasizing Web3-specific tactics to maximize TVL, user acquisition, and ecosystem growth. Own the end-to-end project marketing lifecycle, integrating DeFi trends and Perpetual DEX mechanics. Marketing Activities and Execution: Plan, prepare, and handle targeted marketing campaigns, including: TVL Attraction: Create initiatives to draw liquidity providers and traders to the protocol, such as incentive programs, airdrops, and partnerships in the DeFi space. Investment & Fundraising: Drive efforts to attract venture capital and strategic investments, including pitch deck preparation, investor outreach, and community-driven funding rounds. Tier-1 Exchange Listings: Develop and execute marketing strategies that showcase the full ambition and innovation of the project to enhance its attractiveness for listings on top-tier exchanges (e.g., Binance, Coinbase). Prioritize and manage the listing process, handling compliance, negotiations, and promotional rollouts. Organic Social Growth: Build and amplify organic activity on platforms like Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, and Reddit, through community management, content creation, and viral campaigns tailored to Web3 audiences. DeFi-Specific Campaigns: Design automated flows for onboarding, retention, reactivation, and product launches, leveraging email, digital channels, and blockchain-integrated tools. Optimization and Analysis: Define KPIs relevant to Web3/DeFi (e.g., TVL growth, user retention rates, on-chain metrics, social engagement, conversion to active traders) and use A/B testing, data analytics, and experimentation to optimize performance with data-driven insights.Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and deliver weekly reports on marketing metrics, TVL trends, investment pipelines, and social growth to stakeholders, translating blockchain data into actionable recommendations.Collaboration and Asset Creation: Work with development, design, and community teams to create and optimize digital assets, landing pages, and Web3 tools (e.g., dashboards for TVL tracking) to ensure seamless user experiences and high conversion in a decentralized environment. What You Bring Expertise: 3+ years in project marketing within Web3, DeFi, or blockchain projects, with hands-on experience in Perpetual DEXs or futures exchanges. Proven success in driving TVL growth, securing investments, and achieving Tier-1 listings. Web3/DeFi Expertise: Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, perpetual futures mechanics, liquidity mining, yield farming, and the broader crypto ecosystem. Track record of marketing activities that boosted organic growth and community engagement in Web3 spaces. Campaign & Growth Skills: Expertise in creating and managing campaigns across the DeFi user lifecycle, including lead generation, nurturing, and retention strategies optimized for blockchain users. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with marketing automation/CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and Web3 tools (e.g., Dune Analytics for on-chain data, Discord bots, Telegram integrations). Familiarity with smart contract interactions and crypto wallets is a plus. Data & Analytics: Strong command of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Chainalysis, or Nansen) to derive insights from on-chain and off-chain data, turning them into marketing strategies for TVL and investment attraction. Content & Communication: Excellent copywriting skills tailored to Web3 audiences, with the ability to craft engaging content for social media, emails, and pitches that drive action in decentralized communities.
