Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong technical leadership experience to drive automated testing strategy, maintain automation frameworks, and lead a team of QA automation specialists. This role involves deep technical work in automation (Java + SQL + Selenium + Cucumber) as well as team coordination, reporting, and CI/CD pipeline management. Main Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and execute manual tests when needed to understand core functionality. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Java, SQL, Selenium, and Cucumber , reporting defects and ensuring quality standards. Configure and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins , manage code versioning (Bitbucket), and ensure code quality with SonarQube . Define test automation strategies aligned with business needs and develop new frameworks or solutions to optimize automated testing. Lead and coordinate a team of 4 automation testers, including planning activities and reporting progress to the Test Manager and stakeholders. Mandatory Technical Skills Strong experience in system architecture, test automation frameworks, and OOP development (ideally Java ). Minimum 2 years of experience leading or coordinating automation/development teams . Solid and proven SQL knowledge, including custom script development. Desired Skills Experience analyzing XML messages and application logs. ISTQB certifications (Foundation Level, Test Automation Engineer). Experience with QA tools such as Jira, HP QC, TFS, HP SM. Dynamic, collaborative, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
