As aSales Engineer, you will support the growth of Körber Supply Chain Portugal'sRebuilds business line, contributing to the refurbishment and modernization of automated storage and material handling solutions. You will work closely withSales, Solution Design and Engineering teams, supporting technical-commercial proposals for both local and international customers. Your role in our teamYou will analyze customer RFQs and technical requirements to develop competitive rebuild and modernization solutions. You will support the preparation oftechnical and commercial proposals, ensuring performance, feasibility and cost efficiency. You will collaborate withSolution Designers, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Project Execution and After Sales teamsworldwide. You will coordinate with third-party suppliers, preparing RFQs, requesting quotations and analyzing offers. You will create and updateCAD layouts (2D/3D)to support proposed solutions. You will perform performance calculations, equipment sizing and solution benchmarking using company tools and guidelines. You will prepare budgets, cost calculations and preliminary planning for proposed solutions. You will support Sales Managers during customer meetings with technical clarifications and presentations. You will ensure properhandover to execution teams, following Körber standards and processes. You will maintain CRM records, track proposal status and follow up on submitted offers. You will monitor market and technology trends in automated storage and supply chain solutions. You will actively comply withKörber's Compliance and Code of Conduct. Your profileYou have a degree inMechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or alternatively inIndustrial, Logistics or Production Management(engineering-oriented background considered an advantage). Alternatively, you have solid technical knowledge acquired throughprofessional training in mechanical, electromechanical or automation fields. You have a strong understanding ofautomated storage and material handling systemsor a strong motivation to develop in this area. You are able to interprettechnical documentation and customer requirements. You have good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical and cost-oriented mindset. Previous experience isnot mandatory, although experience inmaterial handling automation or custom-engineered solutionsis a plus. You are autonomous, proactive and comfortable working under pressure. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
