Your Company Our client is seeking a General Accounting Team Leader for a 6-month contract, to join their team in Lisbon and lead key accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting operations and team Performance; Monitor KPIs and SLAs; Train, coach, and develop the team; Oversee monthly closing and reconciliations; Ensure accuracy of postings and compliance with policies; Support audits and reporting; Drive process improvements and resolve stakeholder queries. Person Specification Hold a degree in Accounting, Economics, or similar; Have solid knowledge of financial statements; Be fluent in English (other European languages are a plus); Demonstrate leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail; Be organized, results-driven, and adaptable. Professional Requirements Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment; Knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems (Oracle is a plus); Advanced Excel skills (VBA is an advantage).
