Recruit, mentor, and train security personnel, ensuring alignment with appropriate risk management and security procedures. Develop policies, procedures, and protocols for standardization, governance, and operational excellence. Manage team scheduling, task allocation, communication, and talent development; evaluate employee performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct recurring performance reviews. Monitor and evaluate security incidents, assessing their impact and recommending or orchestrating the appropriate course of action. Lead the identification, scoping, and implementation of strategic improvement opportunities. Collaborate with executive leadership on the strategic development of security analysis capabilities and service offerings. Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent work experience (at least 2 years in similar leadership/management roles). Proven experience leading and developing a team of cybersecurity professionals. Proven experience in evaluating cybersecurity maturity and drafting multi-year roadmaps to improve it; familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF frameworks. Hands‑on experience in technology automation, integration, and/or implementation. Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and change management initiatives. Fluent in English and Portuguese (both spoken and written) is mandatory. Solid knowledge of network protocols, Linux and Windows infrastructures, and basic network security architecture concepts. Comprehensive knowledge of security industry regulations and standards. Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical projects and systems solutions. Relevant cybersecurity certifications and training are considered a strong plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences—from team members to partners and clients. Willingness to travel as project needs require.
