Responsibilities
- Install solar panels on roofs ground mounts and other structures according to industry standards and safety regulations - Conduct site evaluations to determine the best location for solar panels based on sun exposure and structural integrity - Assemble and install mounting hardware inverters batteries and other necessary equipment for solar panel systems - Perform routine maintenance on existing solar panel systems including cleaning inspections and repairs as needed - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with solar panel systems - Keep accurate records of installations maintenance work and inventory of materials used
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent technical or vocational training in electrical or renewable energy field is preferred - Previous experience as a Solar Installer or in a related field - Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and ability to read blueprints - Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in solar panel installation - Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently - Physically fit and able to work at heights - Valid drivers license
