We are looking for a FIX Gateway Developer / Engineer to join a team responsible for the development, integration, and operation of FIX-based trading gateways in a high-performance and low-latency environment. This role focuses on FIX protocol integration, backend development, and operational support, working closely with trading, infrastructure, and integration teams. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and maintain FIX Gateways (FIX 4.x) Implement and support FIX protocol integrations with internal and external systems Analyze and troubleshoot connectivity, messaging, and performance issues Develop and maintain scripts for automation and operational support Ensure gateway stability, availability, and performance Participate in CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities Work closely with infrastructure and middleware teams Contribute to documentation and operational procedures Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with FIX Protocol (FIX 4.x) Experience with Java development Solid experience working on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Strong Shell scripting skills Experience with IBM MQ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Language Skills English – B2 Hybrid Work: 2/3x on-site in Lisbon
