VR AR developer vacancy in Funchal Portugal Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) Developer

We are in need of a talented and driven VR/AR Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a VR/AR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting‑edge virtual and augmented reality applications. Your work will involve collaborating with designers, artists and other developers to create immersive experiences for various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop VR/AR applications for different platforms such as mobile devices, headsets, and web browsers

Implement user interactions, animations, and visual effects

Optimize applications for performance on different devices

Create 3D models, textures, and animations as needed

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions

Stay updated on the latest VR/AR technologies and trends

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience developing VR/AR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine

Strong understanding of 3D graphics programming concepts such as shaders and lighting

Proficient in C# or C++ programming languages

Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya or Blender is a plus

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: 1600$ per month
