We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to work on a Tech project. You will have the following responsibilities:
Design and implement high-performance microservices using .NET 8, with a focus on scalability and clean architecture; Build and refine asynchronous, event-driven workflows using AWS SNS/SQS, ensuring data consistency and system resilience; Lead the technical integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into core applications, bridging .NET backends with Python-based AI logic; Collaborate on the design and development of high-throughput data pipelines using AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams for real-time processing; Uphold high code quality standards through unit and integration testing using xUnit and WireMock; Work closely with SRE teams to deploy services via GitHub Actions and manage cloud infrastructure through Terraform; Leverage AI-assisted tooling such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery while maintaining rigorous oversight of code security and efficiency. You need to have the following skills/experience:
Deep expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8, including strong knowledge of the framework's internals; Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services, including SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS; Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and distributed systems patterns such as Pub/Sub, Competing Consumers, and Idempotency; Proven experience with Redis or Valkey for caching, state management, and performance optimization; Experience or demonstrable interest in working with LLMs and Python, including RAG systems or OpenAI/Anthropic API integrations; A test-first mindset with solid experience in unit and integration testing practices; Familiarity with DevOps tooling including Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform; English proficiency at B2 level or above, with confidence communicating and collaborating in a fully English-speaking work environment. Location
Lisbon, Porto, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
