Role Summary We are seeking a young , enthusiastic trained and experienced Montessori Assistant to support a Casa (3–6 years) classroom. This is a bilingual environment (English & Portuguese) where positive communication, grace, empathy and collaboration are essential. Responsibilities • Assist the Lead Guide in maintaining a calm, well-prepared Montessori environment. • Observe and support children's learning using Montessori principles. • Prepare and maintain classroom materials and activities. • Model respectful communication and support children's independence. • Communicate professionally and warmly with parents and colleagues. • Contribute to school-wide routines, community and continuous improvement. Open to feedback and ongoing learning. Requirements • AMI Montessori Assistant or Guide Diploma (3–6). • Minimum of 2 years experience working with children in a Montessori environment. • Experience in a bilingual classroom is preferred. • Fluent in English (near native level) and Portuguese. • Legal right to work in Portugal (Mandatory). • Kind, patient, collaborative and dependable.
