Senior Java Software Engineer – World-Leading Tech Company | Hybrid (Porto) Location:Central Porto (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Salary:€60,000 – €80,000 + bonus, shares, and excellent benefits We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a world-leading US-headquartered technology company developing next-generation enterprise software. You'll be part of a global engineering team building high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services that power the company's core platform. What You'll Do Work as part of an Agile team building scalable, highly available core platform services. Take ownership of requirements analysis, design, and architecture. Apply performance and scalability best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with product teams and engineering leaders across global locations. What We're Looking For 7+ years of professional server-side development experience. 4+ years of backend Java development. Strong expertise with the Spring Framework. Deep understanding of multithreading, design patterns, and RESTful APIs. Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
